Howdy SATURDAY

Postby Spirit Unleashed » Sat Jun 11, 2016 9:25 am

At the end of my run, 30C feels like 37.

That said, I'm pretty proud of myself for getting 10 miles of actual running done, then I walked the last mile.

The subject looks like it should have been 10 mile Saturday. 10 miles and instead of the predicted rain and wind, it was sunny and a nice 12 degrees at 7:15 am.

Didn't do 10 miles here, just 10k. In the rain, with little wind, so it was fine.

Forget 10 miles...I raced a one mile race last night! 6 minutes and 6ish seconds of fun and pain. Got caught just before the line and finished in 4th.

10 + 1.8 miles for me. Long runs don't feel sluggish like they used to sans speedwork.

19k for me, it was cooling but the rain had stopped. A tip for Vancouver runners, if you are planning to run through Gastown, try to schedule it so you don't run by the Steam Clock at 5 to the hour. I think we photobombed 5 selfies and 4 tourist group shots trying to get through the mob gathered for the show.
