Gold medal WEDNESDAY

Postby FishHog » Wed Aug 17, 2016 11:11 am

Great 12k for me last night. Finally not so hot out here.
Then watched my hometown boy Derek Drouin take the gold in the high jump.

Most of you have probably never heard of Corunna, but were a small town south of Sarnia.

have good day all.

That was exciting to watch! It was neat to hear the announcer say he was from Corunna, I've been there a few times, my sister-in-law lives there.

I seem to recall having a lovely visit over a coffee with a really nice lady in Corunna once when she was in town visiting here sister-in-law.

I recall that too. That was such a long time ago, my mother in law passed away in 2009 and it was before then the last time I was there.

10K for me. Humidex is still reading 31, but it didn't feel as bad for me tonight for some reason. My legs felt great.

8k plus a staff meeting. Why do I mention the staff meeting? It involved 40 minutes of circuit training!! Oh yes times have changed.
