This will be my second race.
My first 1/2 marathon it rained.
Is it going to rain this Sunday?????
Let's all pray.

Re: Who's doing the Waterfront Marathon Sunday?
It rained some of it. It was dry at the finish. How did you do?

Re: Who's doing the Waterfront Marathon Sunday?
I sucked a little more than my first half marathon.
I added 10 minutes to my time. Even though it felt like I did better.
I'm discouraged.
I actually added 5 minutes to my first time

Belated reply but I did the full. The weather wasn't as terrible as it could have been, but it was certainly far from ideal. The short downpour at the start soaked my shoes which did a number on my feet (and made for some very slippery spots along the course with all the road painting and streetcar tracks). The sun came out around 32 K and was very bright and hot, but thankfully I got some cloud cover again, but it remained fairly humid all day. Certainly warmer than I would have liked for an October race! Thankfully the wind didn't end up being too much of a factor and where it did come, it was more refreshing than anything.

@scrumhalfgirl....you are killing it lately, and congrats again on your latest. I think you ought to change your name to scrumfull now I still think the BQ time for men is unfair though
@Fuzzuki...just hang in there and keep building up the mileage. It will come eventually, and you will be able to look back and say that was just an obstacle you had to get over
