Lovely Saturday

Postby Spirit Unleashed » Sat Oct 22, 2016 11:40 am

I don't know what yall's weather is, but here is was coolish and sunny. I say, 15 miles is such a fun run when you are not dying of heat stroke. Even doing 4x1s, I still averaged 5 mph. Lovely!!!! :D

Raining on my way to join the group but it stopped while I did my 8.25K walk on the trails.

Coolish here as well. Under zero Celsius wind chill this morning. Out for a 10K loop on Conquer the Canuck trail course. The course is 8.33 km long. My friend Marco and I go lost accounting for the extra distance!

It was nicer than expected here for the Rock and Roll 10k. I ran a bit faster than was the probably wise as I am running the Half tomorrow. Managed a 59:35 which is the first time I've beaten an hour in a while.

Congratulations. A friend of mine did it around the same time also, he is not running the half, his wife is though.

Not lovely at all here this weekend. Rain, rain, rain. Rain mixed with snow. Winds up to 60 kph. Nevertheless, I did 9k this morning, damp but feeling well.
