Slushy Sunday

Postby chunkymonkeymelonhed » Sun Dec 11, 2016 10:59 am

It's an absolute mess outside so I'm off to the gym to run on the treadmill. Not the way I would have picked to start my Boston training but it'll do.
First LSD is 10K today.

It's beautiful and SUNNY for the first time in weeks here. Nevertheless, no running for me: time for my periodic week off from running.

I met up with some people at bby lake, thinking we'd have some snow and mud, so I wore my trail shoes... It was a bust, we couldn't even run in the thick, deep, wet snow... made it 1km and then did another 4km on the road and went to starbucks. 5km total when we'd planned 10k... but better than nothing.

I'm behind on my December goal but still time to catch up.

14K in the cold (-20 WC -30) for a season-high stupid score of 420.
