Finally Friday

Why do short weeks always seem so long?
Another slow 10k because of ice and more fresh snow.

When this week is a break from the regular routine, it seems quite short.

14K done, chilly wind.

Peaceful early morning run here. It was mild for February (6 degrees), and starting to brighten at 6:00 am! I love early signs of spring - so full of hopefulness :).
We train more joyfully and productively when we focus on the now, rather than on our future race day performance. It's a long road from here to there with many miles to go. We need to run each one. Accept where you are today and simply be thankful for the work you've accomplished. KA

Strength and stretch routine this morning. Wanted to go for a walk this afternoon but it was raining, so sipping on a glass of Brugal rum won out.

10K for me this afternoon, some of it in the rain with my hood up!
