Meandering Monday

Postby La » Mon Apr 24, 2017 6:59 am

I had a lovely ride to work this morning (though my back is quite sore today). After my ride home, I'll switch bikes and ride over to the indoor cycling studio for a computrainer workout.

"rest" day. And by "rest", I mean physically. I will be working a very long day today.

The weekend was full. Even though my excursions weren't long they included lots of elevation so that is good for my climbing muscles (and lungs!). Also spent most of Thurs-Sun taking care of a high-risk 13yo, which is exhausting (to say the least) and then yesterday was the twins' 7th birthday so it was also family stuff. I feel like I need a rest day from the weekend. but no rest for the weary, back to work today!

Happy Monday, everyone!

Bodypump today. Pulled my hamstring yesterday, so couldn't run. Massage tonight

Had to cancel my computrainer workout as my back has seized up on me. :( Will make for an interesting ride home. :?

11k in the rain. Nothing broken or achy on me but going to Physio for a tune-up this afternoon regardless.

Ouch...been there, done that many times. Rest up and hopefully it will heal fast.

A "fast" 5K this evening plus a 2K cool down. I just have to keep this pace up for a full 15K in Cape Breton in 5 weeks....

And another 3.5km with the LTR group.

10 km on the treadmill here on Moose Jaw, after a day of flying and the auditing.
