Shoe for training, races??? Regardless, can't go wrong with ASICs or Mizuno. The lighter the better of course

Happy shopping

I got new shoes today :). If anyone wears Saucony Triumph ISOs, they're on sale now @ Sportcheck - $99 from $189. I got in a rare lunch time run today - 5.5 sunny miles! I love spring :)
We train more joyfully and productively when we focus on the now, rather than on our future race day performance. It's a long road from here to there with many miles to go. We need to run each one. Accept where you are today and simply be thankful for the work you've accomplished. KA

I'll play, even though it's Wednesday. I was confused for a minute.

I need new shoes, but I just ran 10K in my old ones instead, LOL. Gorgeous day out there though!

3km here in Redcliff. I was looking for a trail that takes me all the way to Medicine Hat but I was at the wrong location. There are 2 kiosks that have trail maps..

Spring is struggling to arrive, but at least it's warm enough to get outside. 7.4 km today. Hi, everyone! It's been a few months since I've checked in but I'm still racking up the kilometres.
Marathons: 1; 30k: 2; Half marathons: 6; Shorter: Um, I've lost track
PBs: Half-marathon: 1:35:32; 5K: 19:54 (both 2012)

Ran up to the track with the group tonight. The track part was 5 by [860m faster & 430m easy]. Ran in the middle lane to stay out of the way as there were two groups training on the track. Plus the 1.75K each way to the track. Total of 10K. No new shoes today but I do need some.

You are right, there is a kiosk by the entrance way to the golf course with the map I drove right by it and did not even see it. The other kiosk is just to the west of the golf course. Tomorrow I am going to do a trail run. :)
