The Short Long Thursday

Short long run today of 16k. I'm glad it was a short one, it's hot.

it's sooooooooooooooo gorgeous out today!!!!

I really want to get out but I'm torn.... partly because I have a TON of work to do inside, and partly because I am planning a long run tomorrow so I don't want to have tired legs for tomorrow. But it's a shame to sit inside when it's so nice out.

So at least I have to take the dog out for another good walk (we already had one lovely walk first thing this morning but the sun wasn't even up yet... so another one this afternoon in the sun will be awesome).

eta: I should have done the long run today because it's forecasted to rain all day tomorrow... but I have a phone meeting today that's smack in the middle of the day... bad timing.... grr....

Run after your phone call. The sun is up later these days.

My last long run before the 10k is done. 10.2 today in the river valley.

We did a longer midweek run as one of the gals wanted to do a Craft Beer run. It was a good run and great beer and snacks. We beat the rain for the run but did have to walk to skytrain in a light drizzle. Small price to pay for the sunshine we got to enjoy in the afternoon.
The run ended up being 9k and we had a km plus walk to skytrain afterwards
