Happiness Friday

Postby Spirit Unleashed » Fri Jun 09, 2017 8:16 am

I was happy to go for a run outside in a park this morning. I got to see a red sunrise over Galveston bay. The red color reflected off windows in the distance to the right, so part of the coast looked like a string for fire diamonds. I also saw a herd of 6 deer. Many bunny rabbits. And the usual contingent of early morning walkers and runners.

10k on Seabrook trails.

I'm happy to head out and run with Michelle for what's going to be her longest distance, goal is 15K. Her time is tight and she's not been able to run as much as she should but we'll get the 21.2 done on the 25th.

Very happy run done on the trails w/ my friend and her pup :).
We train more joyfully and productively when we focus on the now, rather than on our future race day performance. It's a long road from here to there with many miles to go. We need to run each one. Accept where you are today and simply be thankful for the work you've accomplished. KA

Happy to get in a fairly long (for me, these days) run in the park today: 6k.

Nice weather for a 7km run. It was windy and cloudy. The temperature was only 23.
