Super Sunday

At the start of the La Porte half marathon. Clear and cold. I finished in 2:13; average pace 10:13/mile. I'm super jazzed about that because I rarely ever run that fast, I wasn't out of breath or trying very hard. Cold today, this 58 year old lady can still run if it is cold.

edit: 3 minutes faster than 2 years ago. I got 11th of 58

A woman in the 70-75 ag finished in 2:32. That is super!

I did 8km in a torrential downpour. Even with my rain jacket I was soaked. I was warm enough once I was going but drenched.

Need a hot shower now.

I ran 5kms. We are having a chinook here in Alberta. The roads are pretty icy. It is slippery even in my trail shoes.
