adding myself because I think I can get 300k even with the taper (the race alone is 80! lol) and having a goal will help me not to slack too much during taper.

Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

18K x 4 days (3 days broken into 2 runs each day)= 72 km
30K LSD Saturday
20K LSD Sunday
Total: 122km over 28 days
add three days and you get 500
The cool thing is that by doing the run commute, I'll actually SAVE time (and money) in the month of July. And toughen up by running in all conditions.

I you want to run that far, sometimes you need to not listen. Kind of like the Gambler, You need to know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em

Yeah, I agree with this. Sometimes you have to tune out.

True enough. My training schedule has me right around 300k anyway, so mine is more of a prediction than a goal.

It will be about 12 weeks out of Chicago from July 1st, give or take ... and, even just from a regular marathon build-up, I should be running at least 300K, as part of the process ... Looking to bike commute a few times a week, weather permitting (25K each way) and possibly a run commute once a week or so (may just do a partial run commute at first and increase as the summer progresses) ... We'll see how this plan becomes a reality ...

Mileage without a underlying spiritual program is just mileage. Him with a spiritual program is flying even when sitting. To achieve the spiritual running paradigm, there has to be a conscious spiritual intention; otherwise, its just physiology, no matter how euphoric you feel.

I am saying the same thing as Guru C.
