No mileage goals for me either. But if I were to have one, I'd aim for 200 miles.

After 60 km in August, I will slowly start to build my base towards 300 km in the end of this year. Major goal for September is to do at least 3 track sessions!

I'm in for 150k - need to redeem myself for August and at least match July.

I might actually be in for once! I have >90 miles planned for the month (145k), so I'm going to shoot for consistency and hitting those numbers.

120KM. I like that number. September will see me working hard to get back at it. I know that there are at least 36 between Haliburton & Banff

120 it shall be. So much so that I have put it on my calendar.

Thanks fe. I need this right now.

I'm in... ran 188 km last month, up from 119 in July. The training schedule calls for 285 this month, so I'd be thrilled with that.

I miss running! My goal is to get back out and put some mileage on my feet. It's about time I wore out these shoes. I've had enough of my sucky lungs.

September was a funny month. I fell short of my monthly 300 km goal due to some issues with my left knee. I had my worst race of the year, 50 Miles at Haliburton and two weeks later my best race, BQing at the SWTM.

Run 227.1K, includes a 42.2K and 80K Race.

YTD 2,656.1K

September was a great month for me, perhaps my best ever.

330K.

YTD: 2408K

That's a slightly lower total than August (338K) because there was one less long run and because taper has started this week. But it has included several key marathon-training runs (34K long, 36K long, 30K with 5K fast finish, a few long tempos, a strong 14K race).

This mileage for August and September is significantly higher than that in my peak of Fall 2008 training (Aug 318K, Sept 257K with injury); I'm hoping that along with the key runs will be the extra push I need to take those six minutes off my marathon time in just over 10 days. 8)

Finished off the month with 306K and approximately 28.5 hours of running ... Had some solid training and quality 1/2 marathons in September, while recovering well, and sooner than I had expected, so my mileage was a bit higher than projected ... Though, it was still about 2/3 of what August brought in at 457K for the month ...

Kinda interesting to note, as well, that my average pace for September was 5:30 mpk while in August it was 5:50 mpk ... :shifty: :P  And, hoping that it will bode well for Chicago 10-10-10 and carry me through my training towards Goofy Challenge 2011, in January ....

September Numbers:

29 Runs - 306.5K / 28:35:xx

YTD: 2,725K / 263:35:xx

350K for Sept - less than August, of course, because of taper etc. Actually higher than I anticipated it would be!

Overall my monthly mileage has ranged 50-60K more than last year! Mostly due to higher midweek milage which was my goal!

I ran 21/22 weekdays in September. No weekend runs (again).

138 km.

Goal accomplished. :D

just 105 miles (169km). I took two whole (non-consecutive) weeks off... but nearly all of my runs this month were high quality so I'm content with that. :)

As a result of my injury inspired taper and recovery for Haliburton Forest 50k, I only got 13 runs in, for 154.5km for the month. I'm at 1494 km of running for 2010 so far.
