December Mileage Challenge
December Mileage Challenge
OK, I'll start it:
16 runs and about 90K.
ETA: my stats in IMR aren't up to date (I didn't update much back in the spring, and not at all in June), so it's showing a measely 633km for me so far this year. I did take a good 6 weeks off in Feb/Mar, though.

Re: December Mileage Challenge
if I follow my plan to the letter, I'll get 187 miles (301km). However, given that it's december (!), I anticipate having to juggle my schedule a bit. I'd be happy with 160-170.

Re: December Mileage Challenge
No specific goal again in numbers-- just looking forward to finishing off the year strong and happy. I should pass 3000K about half-way through the month-- for the first time ever for a yearly total (I'm at 2865K now).

Re: December Mileage Challenge
I need 286k in December to hit 3200k, 2000 miles...like the sound of that.
Re: December Mileage Challenge
OK,
So as of yesterday's run, I'm at 3340 KM for the year
I need 260 to make it to 3600 for the year - can I do it? Holidays and distractions abound in Dec, but we'll give it a shot.

Re: December Mileage Challenge
I'm in my final build for Goofy Challenge this month and unless something dramatically happens, I should be around 300-400 KM this month, brining my Annual total between 3,600 to 3,700K, which would be around 1,000K more than my total for 2009 ...

Re: December Mileage Challenge
After last month I'll be happy to see 100K this month. If things go well goal is 150K.
Haven't totalled my year but with 3 months of 57K or less it won't be anything to write home about.
eta- totalled my year- 1497.65K. including 4 months with a total of 193 of those Ks.
Goal for next year is to try and run INJURY FREE.

Yes, this for me too.
No mileage goal for December. Sticking TO a training schedule is never the problem for me....sticking to it to the detriment of my body breaking down IS.
So my goal for December is to get back to running regularly, injury free. I plan to run 4 times a week until the end of the year. My commitment is to continue my daily yoga practice, as it is doing wonders for my upper body, core strength, and the stretching is helping my PTT immensely.

My Goal: To start running... again!
I've been active in many other ways (including some 20min TM sessions), but I need to run, really run again!

Re: December Mileage Challenge
I don't have a plan put together yet, but I'm going to write down 120 miles.
I did 150 last Dec, then again, Nov this year was a only 65 miles, far less than 145 last year.
Time to make some self committments !

Check your math - you'd end up 19 km short.

No goal as such, but it'd be nice to get past 1200 for the year (currently sit on 1104 so shouldn't be a stretch)...

I did it quick at work with minimal info. I'll recheck when I get home. Don't want a panic run on New Year's Eve!

I have no idea how many kms you've run this year - I was just picking on the metric conversion.

I'm going to aim for 150k this month. That would bump me just past 1000k for the year. Low compared to many of you but I'm working on it!

Re: December Mileage Challenge
I'll try for 203.4, that will bring me to 2800k for the year, I'm at 2596.6.
