I broke the streak on Sunday- our friends from Portland had just arrived the day before and I got lazy about getting a workout in. We did go for a few short walks but nothing more than "normal" activity for me. But I was back to it yesterday and today with 30 and 60 minute runs. Tomorrow will be downhill skiing, but I might also do a short run when we get home.

you did great though!!

I broke it awhile ago but am trying to get *most* days in. My ankle is still requiring some rest days. :(

I managed to do something every day except for December 27, the day after our friends arrived. It was a good month. :)

Congratulations to everyone!

Very simple: run 30 minutes every day in December.

Thanks for the challenge!
I managed to run a minimum of 30 minutes everyday for the month.

Good job, everyone!!

I had 21 out of 31 days. Which is not what I'd hoped but actually not too bad given I still feel like I'm in recovery mode...

Thanks for the challenge. I missed two days but more importantly the challenge spurred me to do workouts on a couple of days I normally would have skipped over the holidays. I also started doing exercise bike and stretching while watching tv more often, which I've wanted to get in the habit of doing but have usually been too lazy.

I stay away from streak challenges but I will say this thread inspired me to introduce a 6th day of running back into my week. The 30 minutes of running was a nice way to do so. My mileage is relatively low since May 2015 but the consistency is still there. Time to ramp it up a bit as marathon training has officially begun in the New Year.

Do we need a January challenge? Not another streak but something else...?

(another challenge I'm in on fb is 2016km in 2016... we could do that here too)

I'm in for that. I'm in a similar challenge on FB, except you get to pick your unit of measure (km or miles).
Plan for 2017:
END-SURE 25k...done! 2:30:23
Spruce Woods Ultra volunteering...done!
Kettle Moraine 100
Western States 100 crewing
Falcon Fatass 50k
Superior 100
