Heck.. I don't run at night but I have one! Oh yeah, I bought it for camping  And I did use it for a night time walk out to an aid station to cheer at Sulphur back in May.

But some day, some day I will use it for running.

Yikes. Yeah, you probably want someone to run with you if you have cougars on your trails.

Just to be on the safe side...

In conclusion, you must go and get one of those Myo XP Petzl headlamps. :D

Well, after much thinking, I went to Europe Bound and picked a Myo XP up for $65 then ran across the street and got an adapter that I will use to clip my Tikka XP2 to my waist.

The Myo XP is so bright, I'm afraid to peel the paint off the walls in my house. I shall call it the "Galvanic Lucifer" , from my favorite book "Cryptonomicon" by Neil Stephenson. The description of the Galvanic Lucifer is possibly the funniest thing I ever read in print.

If people in Africa can walk 10 miles with a few gallons of water on their head, I can run 100 miles with 3 AA batteries on my nuggin'.

Seriously, it's pretty well balanced, with the light in front and the batteries in the back. Even when I shake my head, everything stays nice and tight. There's an extra strap you can use on top of your head if you're afraid of slippage.

Yes I think that Africa is the dark continent.
