Having had the pleasure of watching Krupicka running up a mountain, I have to maintain that he is still my favourite. :)

(definitely not evil, either!)

Dear UltraSlacker, I may have lied about not doing any ultras. (see Puccini's report on my journal).

Funny, at 1:46 into the video my buddy and local Edmonton Ultra runner Logan Beaulieu runs by the camera! Logan had a difficult race in 2008 finishing in 50:26:56 to Goggins' 33:36:20 (Goggins won in 2008). In 2009 Logan ran a much improved 43:10:51.0. Goggins time in 08 is certainly extremely impressive and makes him a very legit ultrarunner in my books.

Great stuff.
next up:

This broken wing will fly again
One fine day
This blackbird's mute gonna sing again
One fine day

So all you sinners come out
And all you drunkards crawl out
Come into the light of one fine day
