Many of you will know Armand and Lise, who frequent many of the Ontario ultra races. Armand was recently recognized for his efforts in promoting running and ultra running in Canada. The acolades are well-deserved, for the time and effort managing and promoting his passion. In the words of Nadeem Khan (Nadeem is part of the IAU):
Hello Friends,
Armand has been awarded Canadian Forces Sports Honour Role. This is a great
honour for him and is very well deserved.
Armand has been a cornerstone of the Canadian ultrarunning scene. First as the
National Team Manager (a position he still holds) and now as President of the
ACU. Furthermore, he sits on the IAU Records and Technical Committee.
Please join me in congratulating Armand on his award and continued success in
extending the porfile of ultrarunning in Canada.
Also, thanks to Bruce for advising us of this award and forwarding the following
