Once Carmack hit -273.15C, it should have vanished, so "unknown" is apt!

He's brave, I'm sure he's going to have fun, if he can get there.

I'm finding it so cool I can check in and see their current speed, avg speed, distance etc in what appears to be about 5min intervals. I've spent more time today refreshing Spaffs position than I've done anything else productive. It appears he had a little break at the 66m mark and is now back running strong, and he's traveling at 3mph right now with an avg speed of 2.9mph, an avg moving speed of 3.6mph with 18:54 moving time and 4:30 stopped time :)

Nothing like keeping tabs on someone is there. Spaff turn skyward and wave at the satellite...I'm sure we can all see you if you search this site closely enough. :)

It is very neat to be able to keep track of Spaff for sure.... Like NGCaper, I have been following closely, and am not being too productive otherwise.....

I must admit that I did have a bit of a "panic attack" when I saw Spaff stop for a while (and lose positions) -- I was worried, but I now see him running strong again :D

Such a great athlete, a great person, and a great inspiration!!

Wow...that's amazing...I saw him post on FB that he had real trouble with GI issues.

Looking forward to hearing his RR...hmmm....may have to go out to Westbrook this Saturday (he's holding a snowshoe race) to give him a hug!! :D

I hope Spaff is very proud of his accomplishment -- can't fathom running 100 miles with GI issues -- he's one tough cookie!! AND I get to give him a hug on Sat since I'll be at the race :D AND seeing Jo-Jo would be a great bonus!! :D

The dark as well must be so hard to continue in. Right now in Whitehorse sunrise isn't until 9:07am ugh!!! So for a 30hr run you could potentially only have about 14hrs day light maximum assuming a 9am start time. That's 16hrs of running in the remote Yukon in the dark!!!
