"Unknown" Zach Miller: "greatest JFK performance ever"

On this morning's run, I was asked, "Did you hear what happened at JFK?"

I guess I should've paid more attention to my Twitter feed!

25 year-old Zach Miller, in his first 50 miler, came in with the 3rd fastest time in course history, in very windy conditions. He hadn't heard about the race until about a month ago. And he works on cruise ships and does most of his training on treadmills.

Quote of the story? “...But I was a little skeptical because 50 miles is a long way.”
