Hey all. Low season in Canada... What event(s) had the greatest impact on your running this year?
It might be a race or an epic training run, but let's hear about the challenges as well (how to handle these is good to know). For me:
Good: Return to long distance running, post surgery.
Bad: Misplaced a volunteer during the Creemore Copper Kettle Dash. 11 runners went off course!

Re: 2013 Reflection
Good: 4th place finish at Run4RKids
Bad: Injury begining of March at Post Oak Challenge in Tulsa OK that lasted until Oct (same time I stopped running long for the year). I guess you just shouldn't run through an injury.

Bad: did not run any ultras and had a dfl in one race.
Good: back on track for 2014. Already registered for two and contemplating a third.
