Re: Season is Starting
I so badly want to run some races this year but I just haven't had a lot of time or energy for running. :( Also my hips need some attention (physio? massage? ims?) and I haven't been able to do that yet. I was registered for Chuckanut 50k in March and had to withdraw because I've not been running enough.
The problem here is that every race sells out months in advance so when I'm not sure what I'm doing, I can't run any of them. :/ It's frustrating.

That would be frustrating for sure.... Here there's a little more time to register for races so you can leave it more to the last minute. It's tough to plan ahead like that, if you are coming off an injury.

Indeed, bring on the trails! I'm keeping my eye out for a fall half and have been pondering the thought of a 50K, just not sure if I can get enough training in over the summer. Will see how it goes!

Yep, it's on my blog:

The pacing went well last weekend. She came in 1st, 2nd overall, and got a new PB. I'd like to take some credit for that, but the effort was all hers. She really did good work the first 100k with an almost perfectly even pace. I'm just glad I got to come along for the ride.

Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.
