See, if I ignore your post, then I incriminate myself; if I answer it, I incriminate myself.

Heaven forbid that I should bring this thread back to topic, but I saw technical underwear at Zellers recently and pondered whether to purchase (the jury's out).

I bought Scotty some tech undies...boxer briefs...and he loves them...silky smooth, somewhat lycra-esque  and he brags about them when ever he can...I think he has shown them to Jaimer, Dani, and COTR already

He wore them for CTRR, he had some chafing then, but not from the undies...the chafing came from running up and down hills in shorts that rode up his crotch (I've experienced chafing with those same shorts) So I am buying him proper running shorts for Father's Day.

Wouldn't the tech undies prevent chafing anyway? Or was the chafing in the thigh area?

yep, in the thighs, just below the undies line...

are you kidding? he doesn't check here as often as one would think...and he doesn't do the "posts since last visit" thing...besides...I need him to try the shorts on before I buy them for him...

Wow, this is a blast from the past. I use those tech briefs under tights or shorts, they keep everything in place and they limit chafing. Various brands out there, your mileage may vary.

this was way too funny. I'm glad it came back to life so I had a chance to see it.

For the record, i'm an UnderArmour compression shorts with shorts over top. My boys need a house.

On the TM, just the compression shorts, but nobody other than Mrs. Fishie gets to see that.

Didn't Body Glide exist in 2006?

I stumbled across this thread this morning and my co-workers believe I'm nutz (no pun intended   ) for continually chuckling at my desk. I figured it’s been almost 3yrs since it was last bumped and I figured the newer members (like myself) need to read this. This thread is just brilliant!

The search function isn't great, but if you can find Insane Keebler Elf or Ottawa Swans, they're also comedy gold
