Well, I bought a great pair of Orange Puma Taranis from Sport Check last week. They're awesome. They have a strange heel, that is hard to get used to but they're light wieght and very responsive. I've already set a Half PB in them, and did some great speed work with them yesterday. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a performance trainer. Only problem was that they were $195. (after tax)

and what type of shoe are they? (stability, etc)

of course they're men's shoes so I don't know why I'm asking.

They're classified under stability, but I would doubt that very much. I have classified them under a performance trainer, because they so light weight and responsive.

I have to see these Orange shoes.
Do you have any photos?

Any of them Orange Brian? I want to get a cool max visor, I saw some at Sport Check that matched my marathon outfit, you know the one, the mini shorts and singlet...But it looks like it has too much cotton on it.

Now this is why you need a moderator banning people. Are you dudes really discussing colour-coordinating headwear and running outfits?

Hey Lisa/QuickChick...

Check out the new Sauconey Tangents... My new (less than 200K) Swerves got a burst air pocket... they replaced the Swerve with the Tangent.... VERY PINK... Actually white/pink/raspberry on the box...

Now they clash with my bike stuff though.....

Oh, it's all about the shaved legs! And triathletes are definitely more "matchy-poo" than runners. Actually, runners usually try NOT to have anything match, whereas triathletes (especially if they come from a cycling background) are all about matching. And the shaved leg thing comes from cycling, too.

My new Sugoi cycling shorts ($129 at Velotique) not only make me LOOK fast, they actually MAKE me fast - as evident by two outstanding races recently since I bought them. They are black, however. I've got orange hair, so I don't need orange clothing!

Melissa,

Mizuno (I swear by their Wave Mavericks) changes the accent colours every six months or so....these are the ones I'm wearing right now:
Image
They're pink, and I *love* them! Just enough pink to have an excuse to buy matching pink sports bras, but not enough pink to blind people as I run by!

Ironically, the first pair of Mizunos I bought were orange and I couldn't match them with anything...this year, my shoes are pink but everything else (my Mtl21K racing shirt, the Runningmania tanks) are orange! D'oh!
