Gift Idea...very cool magnetic LED light

Postby Jo-Jo » Mon Nov 28, 2005 6:15 pm

Just bought this for myself a few weeks ago...and I love it:

Brooks "Nightlife" Magnetic LED light. Cost: $19.99

It comes in two pieces...superlight...it blinks!
What I love about it....because of its lightness and magnetic quality...very versatile. I have "magnetized" it to my running headband, running jacket, dog walking coat. It stayed in place on each of these items...and because it's so light I didn't even notice it was there.

I think this would make a great gift for the runner/cyclist/walker/dog walker in your family or circle of friends.

C-Moss: I have a blinking light for my collar too...but it's from a doggie store...

The LED stuff is great, light, bright and uses almost no power.

Do a search for LED on MEC and lots of stuff available including a strap light that can be attached to your dog collar

Please consider the jobs of those in the forest industry before deciding not to print stuff

I got a blinking light at a trade show at couple of years ago.

It is round, about 5 cm diameter, red, and blink every two seconds.

I use it as a safety measure when skiing, but you can use it for running at night. Unfortenately, I do not know where to get another one.

Oh Joanne, saw this at the expo at the PEC; thought it was pretty neat! I'm wishing now I'd bought one. Hmmm ... think I should drop a Christmas hint to my kids ... but then that might prompt a lecture about running in the dark ... :?

Cathy, there are 2 at the RR, or at least there were yesterday.

I know these are a bit more expensive than some of the lights you can buy...but it's the light weight and versatility that I love!

No...I do not work for Brooks!
