Nope, mine's not here either, Andre. But, I want to say a big thanks to Mike for taking on the task. It is a BIG task, and if he hadn't taken it on, there may not have been a gear order at all.

Was just hoping for good news! Beyond a doubt, these are huge tasks put on a few shoulders, for that, I am always grateful!

For the record, we're never going through champsys again. Everything took WAAAAY too long, and it took them literally weeks to answer the simplest questions, or to update proofs, etc. The process was far too frustrating, and they're very unprofessional.

I think for the next one I'll scope out a local supplier here.

The style of the socks is great, but the color was just a TAD off... I have not taken them on a run yet, but they fit nicely.

Man, it took that long to get from Calgary to Saskatoon? I wonder how long that means it will take to get to Halifax? It's looking like the postal strike may hold mine hostage yet.

I think the holiday got involved - mine was postmarked Tuesday. But that's still 4 days, I've gotten packages from Montreal in 2 days before.

SOCK REPORT

Going against running convention, I decided to wear my new RM socks for the first time at the Calgary Half. They were great!!!

I ran with my wife, and not being trained, we ran a slow 2:49:12 for our half. Then we stretched a little, walked from the race to the Lialic Festival, then up and down the ENTIRE length of it. Then we had to get to our daughters car, which was 8 blocks from the festival. This was all done wihout taking off my shoes or socks that I had on that morning.

By the time we got home, I had been in my shoes and socks for a full 11 hours. It was a LONG day, but so much fun, and best of all the socks fit well, performed well, and made my feet feel great.

Now if I can just find some orange dye...

My tank made it. So glad I got the Large! It's a little snug, but definitely wearable!

Winnipeg's arrived here last Friday - thanks Mike! I really like the vest, though I should really re-lose that 20 pounds I've gained for it to fit a little looser.

I'm meeting with gymnastgirly for lunch today to deliver her order.

Hoodie successfully picked up yesterday from Darth...lunch was yummy too! Nice to get away from the office & meet a maniac for a bit

Hmmm. I'm still buff-less.

I got my singlet a couple of weeks ago (thanks to Holly).
I'm looking forward to debuting it in a race- it's light, and tight, and I think it will make me run fast!

I don't know how tight they're supposed to be, but there's definitely not going to be any extra fabric flapping in the breeze. I like a racing singlet to be on the snug side though.

Mine's both snug and short. I'm OK with looking a little gay, but this is over the top....
