Re-read the title...slowly.

I got the untie/unite reference. That has nothing to do with being anti-technology.

No that's the luddite part.

I think the luddites were the people who threw their wooden shoes, or "sabots" into machinery to damage it, thus giving rise to the word "vandalism"

Whoa now, the Vandals were another bunch altogether: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vandals
Equally cool IMHO...

I know what you meant-
It's not really ok to lump a disability together with a choice to do without technology- they have nothing to do with each other.

So true. And the word "sabotage" came from that ancient German tribe, the Saboteurs, who were often mistaken for the French.

Edit: Ah, I see La has a different theory.

Now this I don't understand. I thought it was quite a good play on words from start to finish and each word contributes to the theme. Except that I think Luddites should have a capital L to give those folks their due.

I wasn't even commenting on the disability angle, just the unrelated angle.

In a title, the L and the W and the U should be capitalized.

Back to the original topic. I think this article discusses what Mr. Bond was trying to say.
