I have two playlists I interchange based on mood, I'll only type in the shorter of the two which I composed for the Spring runoff 8K. Most of these bands are metal music. My favorite bands for running are Dozer and Monstermagnet, though I left the latter out on this list because I needed a break from them... If any of you guys enjoy bands like Queens of the stone age and Kyuss then you'll love Dozer. Swedish band.
The young gods is more floating electronica with a good beat to it which I used in the middle of the run. That proved to be a good formula.

I just twigged to the 3 Terry Reid songs on the Devil's Rejects Soundtrack. Man! Are they ever good. Brave Awakening. Seed of Memory. To be Treated Right. They suit my kind of running - easy and meditative.

I am LOVING "Stronger" by Kanye West. It's gotten me through several tough km's in training! That, that, that don't kill me... can only make me stronger... I need you to hurry up now... cuz' I can't wait much longer...

I also ran to STP's "Core" album on Sunday- hadn't heard it in awhile. I remember why I loved STP so much when they were together! "Crackerman" and "Sex Type THing" are especially good for running I think.

Oh, and I did many long runs to Bob Marley's "Legend" compilation this summer. It really went with the beautiful weather, and chilled me out, and made me smile!
