Guy question, ladies please look the other way...

Postby MrBond » Thu Sep 12, 2013 4:01 pm

Lately, after a long run or a long bike ride, the boyz have been a trifle tender.
Anyone else have similar experience, and better yet what can I do about it ?
Thanks in advance, I'm serious not kidding around.

Why do I see this thread going like the following a few weeks ago?
Ladies I Need Your Help..Faint of Heart Do Not Read

My only comment to this is… are the boys a little constricted in your shorts/pants? Maybe a little freedom would help.

Wait, you are not running in your Speedo are you?

Nope, no Speedo (once a year only) but I was thinking about Jockeys under my running shorts ?

Don't want to sound alarmist but do you do a regular lump test?

If you haven't changed anything (diff type of shorts/underwear etc.) then maybe give 'um a squeeze, my Doctor says any lumps should be quite hard to the touch.

I had one pair of cheap shorts I had to throw out. The liner was a little rough and they were a little loose, my junk moved around a little too much, which led to chafing/rubbing and tenderness.

I agree with others above that you don't want to lock them down too tight, but too loose might not be the greatest either.

now just hang on a second.

when a woman posts about a problem that is personal and sensitive, the guys here take free reign to mock it, sexualize it, and generally act like asses.

but when a man posts about a problem that is personal and sensitive, we're supposed to be respectful and leave it alone?

double standard much? :)

Depends on the topic, if I recall the "manties" thread was posted by a guy and was just as you describe and a lot of laughs were had. however, there isn't really much latitude for hilarity and sexualization when it comes to testicular problems.

Guy question, ladies please look the other way...

Postby Jwolf » Sun Sep 15, 2013 5:16 pm

In all seriousness, I don't know why Scott had to ask ladies to "look the other way" because some of us might actually know something about the issue (not me, but we have some medical people on this board and also some who might have "indirect" experience with the issue-- or know someone who might). Aren't we a little past the idea of some health topics being taboo to discuss with the opposite sex? (Not to mention that asking is to look the other way is a sure way to get us to look!)

Scott- I hope you figure out what the issue is with or without medical help. :) Take care.

Hey Jen, the only reason I prefaced things this way is because I did not want this to turn into a 'manties' or 'ingrown hair' conversation.
I fully respect what most of the women here have to say, and I blew it.
I will be seeing my doctor...

This. I hope it turns out to be something minor and easily corrected.
