Hi everyone,
I just found this forum a couple of days ago. I'm fairly new to running, although I used to run 10K a few years ago. I've been wanting to run a half marathon for a while now and the only way I was going to do it was to just register for one and start my training. So I'm registered for the Army Run 1/2 marathon in September. I'm up to 7km now. I feel pretty good when I run & have this motivation that I never really had before. Also running the 5km Ottawa Race Weekend.

Re: New to Running
Welcome. There are a lot of RMers in Ottawa, so maybe you'll meet some this weekend. Just look for the orange shirts.

Welcome to RM!
There is a lot of good advice here on RM for you at your disposal and lots of people from the Ottawa area to help you out. Check out the Running Room for a clinic specifically for the Army Half. Good Luck!
