Hi everyone:
Has anyone used Velofix for bike tuneups? What were your impressions?
Neither my wife nor I are knowledgeable with bike mechanics, so we are dependant on the bike shop for their opinion and suggestions. However, the bike shop we used for a number of years (and trusted completely) went out of business. There a shop very close to home, but after a few visits, we have no trust in their opinions (seem to recommend products or services we don't really need).
We are looking for a replacement for the shop that we trusted and we were thinking of giving Velofix a try.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Velofix
While we do not have Velofix here in Winnipeg, I know friends that speak very highly of them in other cities.

Re: Velofix
I just used them recently. Good basic tune-up (my bike didn't need anything replaced). In my case, I did it with a group through the indoor cycling studio I go to, so they didn't actually come to me, I had to take my bike to the studio since they were working on several bikes that day. That also meant that I didn't benefit from the quick turnaround as I left my bike there on Monday, the tune-up was on Wednesday and, because of my schedule, I wasn't able to pick it up until Saturday.
