This broken wing will fly again
One fine day
This blackbird's mute gonna sing again
One fine day

So all you sinners come out
And all you drunkards crawl out
Come into the light of one fine day

Dave, these pics are amazing! It looks so gorgeous there. I like the photo of you jumping over the giant puddle-very action-shoty...who took that one?

Looks like a great time. Looking forward to more shots when you and QC go in March!!

We're going to try this new thing called jogging. Or maybe it's yogging-with a silent "j". Apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.

Wow, beautiful shots, Dave! Thanks for sharing your trip photos. I'm definitely putting Sedona on my list of Places to Go, right there with Death Valley and a bunch of other nice spots in the US.
Sounds like winter is the best time to go. No rattlesnakes you say?

Less than 4 weeks to go until we go to Sedona! I can't wait.

Having just returned from a trip to Sedona, I echo a lot of what Dave said in his original post. We loved it. So much so that after a couple of days there, we canned our trip to Utah and extended our week long stay by an additional week... and plan to go back for a week in May / June.

October is a nice time in Sedona - temperature is warm during the day and cool in the evening. Not sure when 'peak' tourist season is but it didn't seem too bad during the week. On the weekend there was a definite increase in traffic.

Miles and miles of running / hiking / MTB trails (although I much preferred running the trails vice MTBing them - and trails in the 'wilderness' are closed to MTBs).

Thanks to Dave for the recommendations.

Some shots of the trails:

This is near the trail head to Teacup / Andante / Thunder Mountain trails:
