Cool! And why hasn't he signed on as a Maniac yet?? :?

We haven't heard much from Lorne lately ... maybe its time for a personal reminder ? We wouldn't want him to forget would we ?

Good thinking Mr Bond. Are you going to drop him a note?

Umm...QuickChick is out of town this weekend, so I will already be wearing one of these under my clothes...just in case I feel inspired.

EDIT: sorry, can I get a clarification on the forum policy on linking chastity belt pictures from gay porn websites? If it's out of line, just go ahead and delete it.

Dave, I am less worried about the appropriateness of the picture than I am about the fact that you had this picture readily available for posting. Is there something you need to tell us??

I'll do it this afternoon if he hasn't responded by then.

So, Dave, can we double the Challenge Points for all participants running this event?

It's only 3pts, under Other Races ....

Only if there is a photo to prove it ....

Wonder how long it would take you guys to run 3K in your Speedos without getting frostbitten .....

Unfortunately, the Challenge Points ends December 31st, Lesley ... :( Perhaps, there will be another contest starting in January ....

La is doing the one after the Hair of the Dog run in the Beaches. Thread is here:

Hair of the Dog

Having reviewed the matter with MrsBG from all perspectives, I regret to inform you all that I will NOT be participating in the Santa Speedo Run. I may be there with signage, though.

Sorry, BG... no voyeurism allowed! Only those of us who will be making fools of ourselves are allowed to watch each other make fools of ourselves!

And that goes for the rest of you, too!!

Yes, Robbie - do come to the Hair of the Dog and do the 9K run followed by the polar bear dip! It's an unofficial "dip", but there were at least six of us who did it last year. We just ran across the beach, removed our running shoes and jumped in! Hopefully we can recruit more maniacs to do it with us again this year.

OK, I have escaped my captors long enough to issue this quick missive...

I have been out-of-town for nearly 2 weeks with only limited access to the Net, so that is why I have not been around of late. Very, very busy with projects...

I am currently in Guelph and/or Waterloo depending on the time of day, and will be back in Toronto Saturday morning.

Regrettably, however, I have been fighting a losing battle with a cold all week. Despite massive doses of Cold FX, vitamin C, and other assorted cold-fighting products, I think the cold is now moving to my chest...

Sooo, if I do not improve very soon, I will be forced to withdraw from this fine event, free Speedo or not. :(

I'll try to update tomorrow...

Alright, folks - let's have the reports!

Anybody freeze their "bits"? Was there a media presence? Photos for posting?

Lamentably, I am bed-ridden and drinking lots of tea and soup in an effort to be healthy again come Monday. (I kind of doubt that's gonna happen, though...)

We missed ya Lorne - its a bummer dude, we had a blast !
There was a photographer from The Toronto Star and (I think) The Sun - pics in tomorrow's papers.
Weather held, the Bond Girls were totally, typically georgeous, MrBG1, and I were spared any major embarrassment by the presence of Gerry S., a babemagnet of the highest caliber.
There will be pics and streamed video on the website : http://www.torontosantaspeedorun.com/ within the next few days.
BTW - 55 people participated and raised over $7000 for Sick Kids Hospital, how cool is that ?
