Who's in for the Santa Speedo Run?

Postby BG1 » Tue Dec 06, 2005 12:07 pm

Just four more sleeps until frost bite time, who's in? And what are you planning to wear?

I've got these cool little elf booties I'm going to wear over my runners, a santa hat, possibly goggles and, of course, my Speedo.

I'll be in the buzzing metropolis (not) of Holland NY this weekend. If Dave does it, I fully plan to sneak many, many peeks at his pictures! Ha ha! Have fun guys- I kinda think you're insane, but Hemingways will be fun.

Actually, the long term weather forecast looks pretty good for the weekend in Toronto ...

Saturday : High 0C -- Low -6C w/ light snow and 30kph winds

Sunday : High 3C -- Low -4C w/ light rain and 20kp winds

I would expect a lot of PBs .. :P

I think you should wear somekind of Speedo-like outfit under your normal clothing... just in case you feel inspired.

That looks like it might create a little drag in the pool.

And I won't ask where the Speedo logo is! Looks like you're ready to run.

I think it's more about stupidity than guts! Besides I think people with smaller guts might feel better about running around in a bathing suit

What have you got to worry about, you're a BondGirl. You (and La and others) have the strength and beauty of ten because your hearts are pure.
MrBG1 and I, on the other hand, have to constantly worry about the Yorkville matrons throwing themselves at us, trying to stuff five dollar bills in our Speedos as we run by.
BTW, the lovely and talented Gerry S. has agreed to accompany us in this Saturday's fun-filled folly. Wait until the matrons catch a look at him - the rest of us poor mortal males won't be given a second glance !
