Hello all,
This isn't a race report - but a race announcement.
The 2nd Annual CR-2 5km & 10km is Sunday August 5th in Orillia and this year the 10km race is part of the TIMEX series.
There aren't many TIMEX series races north of the city, and this is the first year we are part of the series.
We also have technical running singlets for the first 200 runners this year.
The Lindsay Milk run is this Sunday (July 22nd) and it too is part of the TIMEX series so for those of you north of Toronto there is a chance to chalk up some points this month.

I have done a few of these races, they are great. Smaller than the "big city" events of course, but the courses are excellent for racing and the price is right.

Good job getting this one on your circuit. This was a good event again today!

You may want to check this URL. There are no events listed. There is an instruction to use a search menu but it is unclear what hyperlink in the header or sidebar that might refer to.

The TIMEX series is great- Pat's brother really did well on the NS one, and he got to come to TO, all expenses paid, to do the National 10K Championships. I really should have looked for more of these races this spring.
Have fun and enjoy!!

Oh, this might be when I am travelling back to Alberta. I might have to stop in Orillia for this run. I will have to look at a roadmap and see how close to hwy 16, Orillia is.
If you have to ask me why I Run, You probably wouldn't understand!

Not very close. If you took 7 & 12 home rather than 17, it could work but would add may hours to your trip.
