I just stopped in to the David's Tea on Bank Street in Ottawa to get some Cold911 since I have a terrible cold.

They gave me 50g plus a cup of it to go.....on the house! :)

(Maybe they didn't want to have ANY contact with me?!) ;)
i run for me.

I really want to order some of the teas I enjoyed in the Advent calendar but I need to work through some of tea in my extensive tea cupboard.

interesting. i thought they might pick the samples based on what they'd think you'd like, but you all the teas you ordered are black and only one of the samples is black. maybe it's a chance to try some variety.

i happened to be near a DavidsTea on the weekend and took the opportunity to grab 100g blueberry jam and 100g cinnamon rooibos chai. i think the latter is my best find from this year's calendar. i haven't liked most rooibos in the past but i LOVE this one. i'm so glad that it's caffeine-free, too, because i've been trying to cut back at night.

i also love that i can enjoy it without milk and sugar. yum yum yum. this will be a pre-bed ritual.

What's everyone's top 3 teas?

Mine are
1. Santa's secret
2. Read my lips
3. Oh Canada tied with alpine punch (yeah couldn't limit myself to 3!)

I LOVED electric lemon, I had a 2 cups a day for a year until they discontinued it :(

I need more Blueberry jam too. Plus more Cream of Earl Grey, and I can never have enough Sleigh Ride (I only have 1.5 tins of it. I need more to ration me through the year until it comes out again)

I won't even count how much tea is in my current hoard. :shifty: plus Stampie sent me 1/4 lb of Irish Breakfast from Murchies in Vancouver.

Santa's Secret
Read My Lips
Chocolate Chili Chai

I should go stock up on Santa's Secret after work tomorrow as David's Tea is only one block out of the way on my walk home. Chocolate Chili Chai is now going to be a year-round tea! :D

Fantasy Island
Lala Lemon
Cream of Earl Grey

(though I would have said Toasted Marshmallow - how I miss thee!).

Strangely, I'm totally off flavoured tea right now. Can only drink plain stuff (after three months of not being able to drink any tea!).

Right now, it would be:

Read My Lips
Gingerbread
Peppermint

Read My Lips and Peppermint are the two that I always have on hand. Gingerbread is a new favorite.

I need to try Oh Canada and Fantasy Island.

Of the tea in my cupboard (that I bought - non calendar tea) I would rank

1 cream of earl grey

2 orange pekoe

3 blueberry jam tea

4 La la lemon

5 English Breakfast

6 Glitter and Gold

7 Santa's Secret

8 Read My Lips.

:D Why is Cream of Earl Grey my favourite? I hate Earl Grey tea! But it's sooooo good.

Has anyone tried the Countess of Seville tea?
