Sipping my Buttered Rum right now. I have tried this flavour before and really like it. This is one I should buy in a larger tin.

Drinking my chocolate rocket right now. A stimulant is probably a good thing since I have been up with the kids since before 5...

I added a bit of milk and it's really creamy! I like it, but I wouldn't buy it since the thought of drinking a 'stimulant' every day doesn't appeal to me. (Yes, I realize my coffee is considered a stimulant.....)

I don't hate the taste but I don't truly enjoy it either. I usually like chocolate flavour teas so not sure why.

Chocolate rocket smelled really nice. Love the raspbery/chocolate scent as I was drinking it. I never buy mate tea, not my favorite kind but I did enjoy this one. I wouldn't need a big tin of it though.

I don't put milk or sugar in tea. Maybe I will experiment with a bit of milk to see if it positively alters the taste on some of these.

Chocolate Rocket is a fave of mine, I usually have a tin of it. So I'm not the best one to comment on this one :)

Does this tea have more caffeine than coffee?

It sounds good. :)

Eta: I just looked it up and it contains less caffeine but also theobromine- which is also in chocolate. Sounds good to me.

David's often plays up mate as a coffee replacement... it is supposed to be 'stimulating'

I kinda liked Chocolate Rocket but, based on taste alone, I don't think it will be one that I buy. I put a splash of milk in it but I might try the next cup without milk.

I really enjoyed the Buttered Rum yesterday though!

We've decided that we will pick up a sampler set for Scotty's Mum for Christmas. She called this morning while we were sipping on our tea and after Scotty explained the 24 Days of Tea to her, she asked why we didn't send her one.

But no more or less of a stimulant, really.

December 1 - Buttered Rum - It didn't taste at all like buttered rum but I really liked it! Dh took the serving suggestion of adding dark rum to his, so I tasted his before I added anything to mine. So I added a splash of milk and sugar to mine and it was LOVELY. Coconut vanilla. I would buy this.

December 2 - Chocolate rocket - smelled like Tootsie Rolls while brewing. Was really tired when I made it, and I do feel more awake now - not sure if this is directly related to the tea, to the fact that I got into a task while sipping it, or a combo of both. Also added milk and sugar. Really liked it. I would buy this, too.

December 3 - Coco chai rooibos - haven't had a chance to try it yet.

December 4 - Salted caramel - I like it, and would drink it if offered, but I think with all the other yummy ones I have tried, it wouldn't be at the top of my list to buy.

I've had chocolate rocket before and didn't love it, so I didn't actually drink mine today.

No calendar here, but I'm playing along virtually!

I have both of those in my cupboard right now - I was away over the weekend, so maybe I'll try and catch-up!

Buttered rum - reminds me a bit of the butter rum lifesavers. I enjoy it!

Chocolate rocket - raspberry and chocolate are my favourite flavour combo for candies, so I do enjoy this one, even though I generally don't love chocolate tea.

It's a weird tea. I had to drink it a few times before I was able to finish my tin without going "ick!". I wouldn't buy it again. A lot of folks like adding a bit of milk to their chai teas but I'm fine drinking my fave, cinnamon chai rooibos.

I didn't get the chance to pick up a calendar but like scrummie, I'm following along virtually.

I'm sipping it now. I don't mind it. I don't like the smell, though. Definitely medicine-y smelling, but the taste is ok. I won't buy this one.

Coco Chai Rooibos: I let mine steep for about ten minutes, since I generally like my tea stronger. It is perfect. I suspect if I'd steeped it for the recommended time I would not like it. But with just a bit of sweetness (Splenda packet) I'm loving this tea! In the past I've found Rooibos teas to have a medicinal taste but those were teas I picked up at the grocery store like Tetley. I've now tried a couple of DAVIDsTEA Rooibos blends and I liked them...well, I didn't enjoy Alpine Punch as I found it to heavy on the amaretto flavour.

I would definitely pick this up as a caffeine-free chai option.

i've had coco chai rooibos before and didn't love it, but i served it to a house guest this week who told me she liked rooibos and she ooohed and awwwed the whole time she was sipping it. i find it drinkable with milk and sugar and am enjoying this mug, but i probably wouldn't buy it.
