Funny story...you know you drink too much David's Tea when you can recognize other people's tea just by looking at it. I have a colleague who's just moved onto my floor, and her cup was waiting by the kettle. I was able to discern it was Red Velvet - she was impressed!

That's what I'm starting to see about green teas and white teas. I just don't enjoy light flavors.

Good work Tea Detective LOL

I don't know that Red Velvet but I think I would enjoy it from the description on the website.

What’s not to love about a red velvet cake? It’s chocolaty, it’s rich, and it’s bright red. We’re the first to admit it’s a pretty flashy dessert. If other cakes are birds of a feather, the red velvet is the peacock – which is exactly why we love it so much. And this sweet, lightly creamy black tea blend perfectly captures our favourite dessert. With semi-sweet and white chocolate chips, beetroot powder and little red sprinkles, it’s rich, delicious and a whole lot of fun.

Ingredients: Black tea, semi-sweet chocolate bits, white chocolate bits, beetroot powder, sprinkles.

Too bland for me.

I'll empty the rest of the tin into my brew basket and re-steep this afternoon to see if that helps.

I have to say this has been interesting but won't make me a huge David's drinker in the future. I'll likely get through the calendar and go back to my standard pot of mint or chamomile every night.
I just don't think I'm gourmet enough for fancy teas ... lol.

There aren't a lot I'll buy a tin of after this, but there are a few. I'm just sipping the last of my Glitter and Gold and I may buy it in the future.

I take back what I said about the Organic Breakfast. I had my second cup last night and LOVED it.

I am also not much for green tea, but did like the kiwi one

sweet dreams was exactly what I think of when I think of an herbal flowery tea.....which I don't normally like or drink.

Day 22 - Organic The Skinny.....I like it. Not sure if the fact that it's called "skinny" is helping that though. ;)

It seems like all of the teas that I would normally dislike (roibois, green, chamomile...) David's manages to do in such a way that I don't LOVE them, but I do kind of like them......

I liked The Skinny. It tasted like blood orange to me.

Day 23 vanilla oolong

I liked it! It tastes very similar to the tea I drink at a vietnamese restaurant by my office. I don't know that I would buy a tin, I think I just like to have it for a treat when I go out for lunch.

It's ok but not very flavourful.

well, my first mugged steeped for an hour and wasn't even warm.

It was so-so.

I'll do a better try this afternoon.

My guess is it's going to be a "meh" - I wouldn't turn down a cup, but, I won't buy any.

I agree with your list for the most part!

Was it David's Organic Breakfast we had or English Breakfast? Now I think I bought the wrong one on the weekend.
