Me too!! We gave a calendar to Al's aunt as an early Christmas gift and she told us we were cruel for giving it to her 8 days before December 1 - how was she expected to wait that long!

I prefer the cups that sit in your mug, as I find the tea balls let pieces of tea out and they end up in your mug of tea.

oh yes I was actually planning on checking that one out. I don't like loose tea in my cup of tea. ;)

I have a pot that has something like that. It's a little pot, about two cups - is that a good option?

Those really are the best! DH offered me the glass perfect mug with that same infuser and I just love it!

I'm excited to try new teas again this year. I think I know about 50% of them from looking at list.

I've cheated and started early since I am away over Christmas and will be behind a week.
Day one done. White Chocolate Frost
Meh. OK but not a repeat in my books. It was suggested as a latte as well but I generally always drink my tea straight up.

You can, but I won't be reading this thread for fear of spoilers! I like the surprise of opening each day to see what tea I'm getting!

I also love my perfect infuser! So much easier to clean than a tea ball as well.

Next year I am getting an advent calendar to count down to my David's Tea Advent Calendar!

I'm curious about the ones you don't like, since often I like them. If you feel like re-gifting them let me know

Well guaranteed the ones I don't like you usually love, so I may be sending down a stash to your new house like last year!

Oh fair enough... I didn't realize you wouldn't know what the tea is... duh!
I will reserve comments then.

Have fun! I'll check in periodically to see what people think though.
I won't have any to swap because I use the whole amount in a pot of tea. That's how I roll.

You use the ENTIRE pod? I use half a pod, and sometimes it's too strong for me

I don't brew in an individual pot. I drink a big pot of tea every night. :shifty:

That's my plan for this year, which is partly why I bought the tea kettle. Last year, I was brewing individual cups and I got at least 4 out of each tin (I measured out per their directions). But for the ones I didn't love, I STILL have leftovers. I don't want leftovers this year, so I'll just make a pot. I'm hoping one tin/litre is about right.

I didn't make a point of getting a calendar, and at the time I was fine with it...now that it's almost December 1 I am kind of sad :( I will have to live vicariously through all of you in this thread.

Now I'm a little less excited about Dec 1st LOL

I tried it at the store a few weeks ago and it was also a Meh for me.

Tried it as a sample today and I agree. For some reason I thought, based on the name, that it would be a black tea. C'mon, December 2nd!

Ok day 1 white chocolate frost is ok. It mostly tastes like a regular cup of mint tea. I agree with deerdree i also would have preferred it with black tea.
