I concur. It was fun to open it up this morning and try it. I did not know about the little pods they came in. I am going to put magnetic tape on the back and use them for school.

I don't have a calendar, but will follow along with teas I've tried or pick some up.

I smelled the Chocolate Frost, but decided to skip it, since I still have quite a stash of Cocomint Cream from last year. Unfortunately, it seems to be one of my lingering food aversions, so I haven't really touched it this year.

If you're looking for a chocolate mint black tea, there's Read My Lips, which is very good.

I opened the calendar but will try the tea later as I have a headache.

Awwww! I woke up with one, but it cleared up. Feel better!

I liked this tea, as something to have when I don't feel well. It seems like it would be soothing on the tummy.

As I said, I didn't love the sample I had in the store, so I'm going to skip this one. I also took my tea kettle to work so I'm not sure what I'll do on the weekends over advent.

Sipping some decaf earl grey now, instead!

White Chocolate Frost - I like it. Not sure I'd buy it over regular peppermint, but I like it.

Perhaps White Chocolate Frost is supposed to be this year's answer to Cocomint Cream? (so disappointed Cocomint Cream didn't come back, very happy I stocked up last year and still have a tin-full plus two pouches left).

I find it tastes more white chocolate-y with milk added. I like it better now with milk.

So far so good.

Day 2 - Alpine punch

I don't mind this one. I bought it last year. I wouldn't drink it year round but it feels like a wintery tea.

I see that there is little instructions on the underside of the window in the calendar. I don't think I used enough of yesterday's one. :?

I tried Alpine Punch as a hot tea to go last year and I was less than thrilled with it. I'll skip today's tea and let Scotty and MIL have at it.

So far, I'm more convinced that I'll skip the 24 Days of Tea next year and just make my own...

I agree with Tori. I don't mind today's tea. I don't *love* it, but it's a nice wintery and cozy tea.

after 2 years, i'm guessing there won't be many teas left for me to try, so i'll likely do the same. i like the advent calendars since there isn't a david's tea close to me and i have to order online. the minimum purchase is 50g, so i tend to stick to teas that i'm pretty sure i like. the advent calendar is a great chance to sample new ones!

i have tried alpine punch (i don't think it was in last year's calendar...). will have a pot this afternoon - i'm looking forward to it!

eta: also, although i might "not love" them, i've never met a tea i couldn't drink!

I have... on Friday I tried Genmaicha as a hot tea to go. :YMSICK: :YMSICK: It was like drinking sushi.

If I want sushi...I prefer to eat it.

I could only handle 3 or 4 sips before tossing it. I'll never do that again.

I have too, "goji pop" ... though I should try it iced before saying that....

I think I'm alone with this but I LOVE alpine punch! I just bought a new tin over the week-end.
