In CinC's Training Journal, La wrote:Let me see if I have the time differences straight (and please do correct me if I'm wrong):

Perth/Busselton (Western Australia Standard Time - WAST) is 13 hours ahead of Toronto, so 15 hours ahead of Calgary, 16 hours ahead of Vancouver, and 12 hours ahead of Halifax.

Your race starts at 5:45AM on Sunday, December 5, which will be:
5:45PM AST on Saturday
4:45PM EST on Saturday
3:45PM CST on Saturday
2:45PM MST on Saturday
1:45PM PST on Saturday

The cutoff is 10:45PM WAST, which would be:
10:45AM AST on Sunday
9:45AM EST on Sunday
8:45AM CST on Sunday
7:45AM MST on Sunday
6:45AM PST on Sunday

More than likely you will finish around:
6:45-7:45AM AST on Sunday
5:45-6:45AM EST on Sunday
4:45-5:45AM CST on Sunday
3:45-4:45AM MST on Sunday
2:45-3:45AM PST on Sunday

Live tracking is here: http://www.ironmanlive.com

I guess I better set my alarm for 5:30AM that Sunday morning! :o

They should be off and from the pictures on the website, it looks like a nice day!

It really is a beautiful area. A shot I took of the jetty when I was there:

And when they're done, they get to go to Margaret River -- beautiful, AND wine country!

Kick some Aussie butt, C&D!

They're just over an hour into the swim, so will be another 10 minutes or so for Dave and maybe 15-20 for Carla.

Just over 5 min in transition for Carla. She's out on the bike. Ride, Bytch, ride! And don't forget to tell those ahead of you to "Move, bytch, get out the way!"

Great transition time as well. ~5 min.

1st bike split isn't until 20 miles though. But 7 splits for the bike and 13 for the run, so we will able to keep close tabs on them.
