WARNING for Ottawa women

Postby Marg » Sat Jan 08, 2011 4:36 pm

Hi, I'm actually logging in from San Juan to post this. You may have caught this in today's Ottawa Citizen but some sick s.o.b is loose around town and striking women in the head with a hammer. My best friend has been one of his victims (she is ok but severely traumatized). He struck her on Gilmour and other women were attacked on Albert and in Mechanicsville I believe. These attacks are happening in the afternoon in daylight. Please please be diligent out there until this ass is caught.

That's awful!!! I hope your friend will be OK (emotionally, even if she is already OK physically). I'm sorry to hear this. I'll pass this along to my sis and fam.

Crazy to think this sort of think could/would happen in broad daylight. I hope she's ok, Marg. Sorry you have to be so far away when something so tragic has happened to your close friend. Sick ba$tard!

That's crazy! I was in Ottawa for five days. Every day I walked my dogs morning, afternoon and evening. We walked for an hour or more each time. I never felt unsafe ever, even at 6:30 in the morning! I'm glad this was not going on then! I hope they find the person soon!
