RM GEAR! WE'RE READY TO GO! :)

Postby ultraslacker » Sat Feb 05, 2011 8:19 pm

Alright peeps, after Marg spent many hours coordinating with suppliers and I spent many hours getting our bleeping shopping cart to work, we're finally ready to go! :)

Notes
- The proofs are still being finalized on a couple of items, so you will see generic photos in a couple of places. Rest assured that they will look very much like the proof samples that we have showing, although they may not be *exactly* as shown. Marg is still finishing that up with the suppliers.

- You need to be logged into the forum in order to use the shopping cart.

- Some items are leftovers from previous orders, so numbers are limited--they are noted in the product descriptions.

- If you can pick up your order in a major city in Canada, please indicate that on your order form (there is a field for it to make it easy!). We save a LOT of money if we don't have to ship things individually!

Questions? Problems?
Post any questions or problems in this thread, and we'll do our best to answer them quickly.

Payment
There are two payment options: Paypal and email transfer. RM saves money if you use email transfer, so please consider that as the best option, when possible. Paypal charges us for each payment.

Whether you're using paypal or email transfer, both will use my email address: hvipond@gmail.com

The shopping cart is connected to paypal so you can conveniently pay directly after your order! :)

All prices include shipping, taxes, etc.

How to do an email transfer

You need to have online banking with one of the "big" banks (RBC, TD, BMO, etc.). Credit Unions have NOT traditionally worked because they use a different transfer system.

Log into your online banking and look for a section for email money transfers. In RBC, it's under "Pay Bills and Transfer Funds".

You will then have the option to add/select a payee. There you will add my name and email address, hvipond@gmail.com

Then you will select a security question, which I will have to answer. Make sure it's something that I will know the answer to! lol

Most banks will charge a nominal fee ($1.50, usually).

And that's it! I collect the payment through my own online banking. :)

Regarding the women's running singlets, is the sizing based on the men's singlet (link provided) or is there female-specific sizing? Sorry if this was discussed in the last thread.

gah. I don't know. Hopefully Marg can answer that. I didn't realize that they only show men's... I *think* there should be individual women's sizing, since I know they are in a women's *cut*.

Perhaps someone should bump the thread showing where all the RM shirts have been in the World!

I want one of the black hats ... but I am trying to figure out sizes for the rest (confusing with no women's sizes). Can I put a hold on one of the hats until I figure out and place the rest of my order so I don't have 2 orders and 2 shippings?

I find the men's sizing confusing too. Can't it just say whether they fit bigger or smaller than expected? Usually tech clothing fits a little smaller than you'd expect.

I love that the pic shows longer in the back of the shirt but the sizes are longer in the front ... I think that is an oops! :D No big deal. On their site if you look under tri sizes there is more info including some women's sizes. I think though that these are more fitted as I am an XL women's in some and given that I am a size 6 I don't usually need an XL! However I do often end up wearing men's sizes as I have broad shoulders and a long body and womens sizes are just too short in the torso!

yep, I'll put your name on one of the hats... but it's the last one so that means taking it out of the shopping cart (which means you won't be able to add it to your order, so just remember to add the extra $$ on top when you send payment, and I'll add the hat in manually).

I'm not a tri person, but doesn't tri gear usually fit a lot tighter than running gear?

They give actual garment measurements. Take a shirt you like the fit of, measure it and decide from there.
