I like the sound of it, except that there is no packet pickup on race day. I might want to stay in NF, but I don't want to not have a choice (well, unless I drove there and back on back-to-back days, which would suck).
It's also the same day as the Bread and Honey Race which is one of my favourites.
I'll put it on my radar and think about it! Thanks for pointing it out!

We usually do a Great wolf lodge trip, but not until the end of summer. may rethink.

Going to google the honey one...... not the first time I have heard about it!!!

I'm in Niagara, and I'm registered in this anyway, so if you need your pack picked up, IM me.

I am signed up! Hope I'll be ready for it - the last couple of months have been one setback after another. Anyone else planning to run this?

Okay folks, I'm planning to pick up the bibs on Friday. There is race day pickup at the start line from 6am to 7am. If you want me to pick it up anyway, let me know and we'll coordinate.

I hear it's going to be a high of 22 that day - MUCH better than today!

Deanna,

DH and I have decided to make a weekend of it and are coming to NF on Saturday, so I'll be able to pick up my bib. I didn't think they were having race day pick up!

Maybe pick a place to meet at the start?

We'll be making a weekend of it as well. So excited! Any advice about activities in the area that a one year old would enjoy? I was thinking maybe Marineland, and seeing the falls of course.
Latest weather.com forecast shows a high of 19 - I definitely won't complain about that given the recent weather!

Okay, looks like 18 and thunderstorms -- I guess that's better than 40C and humid...? :shifty:

Ladies -- do you want to meet up on Saturday afternoon or evening for a glass of lemonade or some wine?

The run starts at 8am -- I'll be there to stretch beforehand.

Love the press-on toenails in the kit

See you tomorrow! I was in and out of the pickup very quickly. I may give those press on nails a try! :)

I thought of you today, saw a personalized plate GAR GNU on the 401.

Good luck tomorrow to you all. I decided for the Alfie Shrubb, closer to home. :)
