Nice easy 53min with MrsStrider on the soft muddy trails in the light misty rain with the wet green leaves hanging all about. Practically perfect in every way.

Steady 12km this morning is cool, overcast, slightly windy conditions. Seemed to be perfect running conditions during my run because it felt so great to be running this morning. Love days like this! Now off to do some fun shopping with my daughter today!

16.5 done, a bit short of planned 17 but it's done. Oh, my aching hips. Dragon boat races should be fun this afternoon, I'm going to need someone to pry me out of the boat

Mount Albert Sports Day 5K with Amelia this morning. A cool windy start and rained on us for a little while. She did awesome...her first 5K race....ran in 31:48. She ran the whole time, on pace and finished strong and didn't complain once...best part, she enjoyed it! Very proud of her!

I'm meant to be pacing a girl for the third quarter of the vancouver 100 today... but I just got a text from support crew that she is behind schedule, slowing down, and feeling rough. :/ awaiting word before I leave my house, in case she drops (I hope she doesn't--she was so excited about this!).

I don't think I'm going to Loops for the Troops tomorrow. :/ Sweetie's eye appointment is at 10 a.m. tomorrow, and the race starts at 9 a.m. As we live 30 minutes from the clinic, the timing just doesn't work. Durnit.

Got 9.6kms done late in the afternoon at a brisk 5:17/km. Probably should have gone slower but it felt pretty good throughout. Lots of branches down from yesterday's wind in one of the parks I ran through.

well she did NOT drop, and I did my leg with her. It took a ridiculously long time (farrrrr longer than it should have!) and I was impressed to see that she was ready to continue to the last 25km leg with a new pacer (our own heliotrope). I was glad I only did 25km because I was freezing and soaked and hungry.

It is harder than Regina for sure but it isn't exactly a hill-fest either - this is Saskatchewan after all. Hope you had a good day!
