My money is on your Lisa ... :shifty:

A rest day today, as it is Friday .... Have a shift at the shop this evening .. and, that's about all folks .. Though, I did get in my morning chair therapy workout at the Club ... ;-)

Safe travels, Marg .. and, to those travelling to their respective destinations today, whether it be for racing or leisure, this weekend ... 8)

Easy / Hard / Easy / Hard /Easy 30min with pup this morning. Trying to stress the knee/quad before physio. Good News: It did stress the knee so it is sore. Good News: It isn't AS sore as it was Wednesday.

Had a really crappy 3k run this morning. Did the "just run for 10 minutes and if it still sucks, turn around" thing, and it still sucked. Oh well. Hopefully this isn't a sign for a bad race Sunday.

Morning!

Rest day from running, though I did get up and go to spin class with roommate T :D It was a great (hard) class today... might take tomorrow as a run rest day too to give the legs a break :D

weight training this morning...... last day of deadlifting to max. During this cycle I made it to 155, but today I could only get 150lbs. I also tried to overhead press the 16kg bell. I can clean it to my chest (using two hands) but I just can't press it yet. Next cycle maybe.

off to work 10-7

Busy day.

Work this morning, suit shopping with DS and his girlfriend (grad at the end of the month), swim (hopefully), grocery shopping and hopefully taking my road bike out for the first outdoor ride of the year (got it back from the shop on Tuesday after the trip back from Alert). Oh, and pick up race kits!

I think that I will need to write a list, or I may risk forgetting something

Today - no run. Slept until 6:30 and it felt heavenly.

All that matters today is that I'm picking up Marg at the airport after work. Wine is purchased. It will be a lovely evening.

Today is going to be a loooonnnnng day on virtually no sleep. Yes, I am whining about it. And they are making me go play paintball. I realize that I shouldn't whine about being paid to play paintball... I just don't know where I will get the energy!

I also plan to run today, but we'll see how things go. Send nap vibes.

Easy 40min run to do, then heading to the school for "Fun Day". The sun is shining so it should be "FUN"

Just enough time for an easy 20 minute trot before work. Doing the stairs behind Parliament at lunch. Admittedly, have slacked in the last week. Tomorrow is the solefit orthotics seminar and Sunday is my first lsr with the Team in Training fall crew. (I missed last week's).

Today's morning was eaten up by a retirement party for a colleague. Sadly, one of our other colleagues makes absolutely marvelous chocolates for these retirement parties and I had four (worth it!). These were dessert to the various cheese and cracker combinations I just HAD to try, and the healthy veggie options.

I think I'd better do that 5k I was thinking of, at lunch...
Ottawa Race Weekend 10k (2009): 1h07m; Army Half-marathon (2009): 2h38m; St. Patrick's Day 5k (2010): 33m; Ottawa Race Weekend Half-marathon (2010): 2h28m (getting better!); St. Patrick's Day 10k (2011): 1h13m (or not); Calgary 10k (2012): 1h06m (new PB!); Canadian Derby Half-marathon (2012): 2h17m (PB!)
