Morning! 8.5K with the clinic last night. I tried to keep it easy because my quads are still a bit sore, but the group would have none of that!

Re: Wonderful Wednesday
Where Did the Week Go(?) Wednesday! A week ago I was frantically trying to clear work off my desk so I could go to my niece's wedding in BC, and it's already done and I've been home since Monday evening. Great trip and a lovely wedding.
Re: running. I actually left on Thursday afternoon, so ran 11 km in (cold) sunshine on Thursday morning. Lovely when running into the sun with the wind at my back, not so lovely running into the wind. Friday was a hilly 12 km. 4 C and I wore capris! Saturday was dancing at the wedding. Sunday was a hilly 17 km in the sunshine - mountains were gorgeous. My sister lives on a mountain so there are some great views. Plus, I discovered a new trail/road loop that gives me a little more gentle up and down, as opposed to the steep up and down that's impossible to avoid when running in the area. Monday was all-day travel so a rest day, yesterday was 3.5 miles on the elliptical plus upper body weights, today was speedwork/progression run on the TM for a total of almost 8.5 miles. No Runpub tonight - I'll either be working or making up a missed belly dance class. Sometimes it feels like I'll never get to Runpub again, but this too will pass. By mid-May the worst of the crunch time at work should be over.
Hard to believe that Boston is less than three weeks away. Unfortunately I am feeling undertrained and undermotivated. You get the race you train for, and I definitely haven't trained for a great race. Still, it will be great to be there. And that's all I'm saying - last year I got injured something like two weeks before and ended up with a DNS, so I am far too superstitious to discuss this year in any detail...!

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!
