Sweaty Sunday

Postby erinmcd » Sun Jun 02, 2013 8:37 am

1.5 hours on muddy trails for me this morning, with some hard paced hill intervals tossed in for good measure. Wasn't too hot yet, but very humid- was dripping wet when I got home.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Will be heading out in an hour for 10k or so with the Bonsor crew. I would say it will be a slow run but my tired legs don't like running slow so I guess it will be a moderate run (or a walk :))

I still have a chest cold, so no running for me. I've felt really lazy having only run once since the race last weekend!

I got in a steady 5.3 km run this morning. It was pretty humid out there.

GREAT run this morning- I was sort of dreading going because I've felt crappy on a couple of my runs this week. However, I guess it was just a glitch, because I felt awesome today! Not fast, but my legs felt normal and I didn't have to stop and pee, lol. I did a bit over 7km with JB and our good friend D. It was warm, but the sun was off and on, and the breeze off the lake was soooo nice.

I set out in the rain, but it cleared and it became super hot and sunny! 8.5ish km done along the canal. It started raining again when i got in the shower - strange day!

12K on heavy legs. Such a muggy run. At least the sun stayed covered for most of it, except the last 2K or so.

7.5 sticky K in Taylor (not Lesley) Creek Park - lotsa washouts and 2 bridges gone from all the rain .

The good news, the bridges are open again to the north Don Trail going up into Sunnybrook Park.

Got my new bike yesterday and of course it is raining now. 2250m in the pool done. Hopefully the sun will peak out so I can go for a short ride :)

I had a nice 25 km run at the Phlox 25 km trail race at Brant Conservation Area this morning. I also missed getting wet by a few moments. Race report has been posted.

I am holding off on my run. It has been raining most of the day in Calgary. I did get a workout in at the Eau Claire YMCA (Back & Biceps). I even looked at the treadmills then I thought that is definitely not me.

just 6 miles today (5 on trails, 1 on road). I planned to go longer but wasn't feeling great so I cut it short and came home for wine and chocolate. :)

13K in Regina around parts of the QCM course. For those keeping track, that's two runs in two days, with 2100K+ of solo driving in between.

We were just talking about that today, wondering if they were open. Thanks! Too bad about TC park though. :(
