Garmin Forerunner 610

Postby La » Wed Jun 05, 2013 8:57 am

Has anyone noticed this watch tends to re-set itself (i.e., turn off features that have been turned on, reset the user profile to factory settings, etc.) from time to time? I haven't figured out what circumstances makes this happen, though. Maybe something I've done inadvertently?

Any ideas?

I remember when I had the 610 this also used to happen to me for seemingly no reason. It wasn't that I pressed something inadvertently.

I think the touch screen is just a bit buggy. I was told once that the watches are designed to reset themselves when something goes wrong so that worse damage doesn't happen. But for some reason with the 610 screen it seems to happen more often than other watches.
