Third Annual Solefit Symposium (Ottawa)

The Solefit folks are putting on their third annual running symposium in Ottawa. The theme this year is The Limitless and Limiting Mind and will be at the Museum of Nature on the evening of November 2nd. Speakers will include Dr. Greg Wells (remember his clips during last year's Olympics?), Terry Orlick (author of the classic In Pursuit of Excellence) and Ray Zahab, who will present film from his just-completed crossing of the Gobi Desert. Just listening to Ray talk is worth the entry fee! Mark Sutcliffe of iRun The Running Show will MC the evening and proceeds will go to support Ray's Impossible2Possible foundation.

Hey Nick - good to see you today and thanks so much for posting this!

Andy, sorry to hear you can't make it. It's so hard to find a weekend that time of year that there's nothing else going on! We'll make sure we get a thorough summary up here afterwards to fill you in on what you missed. Thanks so much for supporting our seminars in the past!

Jo-Jo, I realize that it's not the same as a hug from Nick, but I'll definitely give you a hug if you sign up!

We're really looking forward to this one and have some great speakers lined up. Along with the great speakers, we'll be screening Ray's short movie from the Gobi Desert on the huge HD screen with Dolby Surround Sound that they have at the Museum of Nature.
